The pedestal moulded with attributes of the comedic arts (a lyre, a mask, and a music score) and the singer's name in Cyrillic type, the moulding accentuated with gilt. The bust inscribed with 'S. Soudbinine'. Both the bust and plinth stamped on the reverse with 'SEVRES', 'S 1915 DN', and artist monograms 'CV' and 'LG'. The underside of the base stamped with 'RF Manufacture Nationale Décoré à Sèvres' in under-glaze red and 'S 1915 DN' in black. Inventory sticker to base.
