D'après Séraphin Soudbinine (1870-1944) Le chanteur d'opéra Leonid Sobinov (1872-1934), 1915 Buste en biscuit de porcelaine de Sèvres Le piédestal moulé avec des attributs des arts comiques (une lyre, un masque et une partition) et le nom du chanteur en caractères cyrilliques, la moulure rehaussée de dorures. Inscription 'S. Soudbinine' sur le buste. Estampille 'SEVRES', 'S 1915 DN' et monogrammes de l'artiste 'CV' et 'LG' sur le buste et le socle. Estampille 'RF Manufacture Nationale Décoré à Sèvres' en rouge sous glaçure et 'S 1915 DN' en noir. Vignette d'inventaire sur la base. H: 26.5 cm - L: 10.3 cm - P: 8.9 cm A Sèvres biscuit porcelain bust of opera singer Leonid Sobinov (1872-1934) dated 1915. The pedestal moulded with attributes of the comedic arts (a lyre, a mask, and a music score) and the singer's name in Cyrillic type, the moulding accentuated with gilt. The bust inscribed with 'S. Soudbinine'. Both the bust and plinth stamped on the reverse with 'SEVRES', 'S 1915 DN', and artist monograms 'CV' and 'LG'. The underside of the base stamped with 'RF Manufacture Nationale Décoré à Sèvres' in under-glaze red and 'S 1915 DN' in black. Inventory sticker to base.
