Olympic Games Barcelona 1992. Gold Winner's medal - Original gold medal from the Olympic Games in Barcelona 1992 for the first place in canoeing for a German athlet. Gilt silver, 7.5 cm with original silk riboon. This medal was gilt with 13.5 grams gold. The silver weighs 231 grams (925 silver). Tarnished with signs of wear; All traces that can be found of this medal occured when the German athlete held their party after winning gold. Thus it's a piece of Olympic history. In original velver bag for this medal (14 x 14 cm) with loop. The consigner got the medal from the athlete directly.

Im original Samtsäckchen für diese Medaille (14x14 cm) mit Schlaufe. - Diese Goldmedaille wurde mit 13,5 Gramm Gold vergoldet. Das Silbergewicht der Medaille beträgt 231 Gramm (925er Silber). --Angelaufen; mit leichten Tragespuren. Alle Spuren an dieser Medaille sind nach der Siegerehrung beim ausgelassenen feiern der Medaillengewinner entstanden, also ein Stück olympischer Geschichte!!! --Der Einlieferer hat diese Medaille direkt vom Athleten erhalten.

Prices listed in the catalogue are estimates only. The lots may be sold at higher or lower prices. Auctioning will start at 80% of estimate unless at least two higher bids have been received. Bids under 80% of estimate are not accepted by the auctioneer.
Bids are to be submitted in € only. They are executed conscientiously and without any commission.
A buyer´s fee of 19,5% is added to the successful bid. Foreign purchasers from EEC countries will be charged the German VAT. Postage, insurance and bank charges will also be added. Payment is due within 10 days of the auction invoice. The buyer is responsible for compliance with import regulations.
