COVACI HAASE, NICOLAE (auch Nicu Covaci, geboren 1947 in Timişoara / Rumänien), Gemälde / painting: "Mediterrane Landschaft", Acryl auf Leinwand, u. l. signiert "Covaci". Revers auf Klebeetikett betitelt / bezeichnet und datiert: "Terrassen / Spanien - Combre del Sol, 1988". Mediterrane Küstenlandschaft in summarischer, teils lasierender Malweise mit breiten Konturen und in expressiver Farbigkeit. 73 x 60 cm. Covaci, der an der Kunstakademie in Timisoara studierte, ist rumänischer Maler, Bildhauer, Musiker und Komponist und auch bekannt als Gründungsmitglied der Rockband Phoenix. In Deutschland realisierte er u. a. in Osnabrück Projekte im öffentlichen Raum, zu denen neben der Bronzeskulptur "Venus" auch großformatige Wandmalereien zählen.
