Portable Writing Desk
Hardwood veneered rosewood and walnut, inlaid with rings of mother of pearl and brass. Rectangular shape with inclined cover, which upon opening forms together with the body an inclined writing area lined with brown leather. Under the hinged plates of this area is storage space for pens and an inkwell. Original container for ink. England, the first half of the 19th century, dimensions 40 x 24 x 12 cm. Original state. Condition 2

Palisander und Nussbaum auf Hartholz furniert, Perlmutt- und Messingeinlagen. Rechteckform, schräg geschnittene Deckelöffnung, wodurch sich nach dem Öffnen ein Schrägpult ergibt, die beiden Pultteile mit Abdeckklappen, diese mit brauner Leder belegt. Vertiefte Fächer für Tintenzeug und Schreibfedern. Innen ein Tintenfass. England, 1. Hälfte 19. Jh., Maße 40 x 24 x 12 cm. Originalzustand. Zustand 2
