Cavalry Officers´ Sword
Double-edged blade (pitted, broken and welded) with lenticular cross section etched for one thirds of its length on both sides with trophies and floral elements. Iron knuckle-bow with thumb ring and asymmetrical, double shell-guard. Wooden grip without covering. Engraved bilbous flattened pommel. Germany, 17th century, length 95 cm. Condition 2-

Gerade, zweischneidige (narbig, mittig gebrochene und alt geschweißte) Klinge mit linsenförmigen Querschnitt, im oberen Viertel mit Trophäen und floralen Ornamenten geätzt. Eisernes Bügelgefäß mit Daumenring und asymmetrischen Stichblättern. Hilze aus Holz, Umwicklung fehlt. Gravierter abgeflachter Kugelknauf. Deutsch, Mitte des 17. Jh., Länge 95 cm. Zustand 2-
