Cal .28. Six shot. Barrels marked “Stocking & Co. Worchester Warranted cast steel” with eagle head. Barrel length 4”. Cock marked "MANUFACTURED 1848". Engraved frame. Trigger guard has a spurred bow. Grips are very good. Action works perfectly. No rust, no pits. This is a fine example of a scarce Stocking Pepperbox. Stocking & Company Pepperbox with cocking spur. United States 1848, length 19 cm.
