An Air Gun
Brass lined octagonal blued barrel with a smooth bore in 6 mm calibre. The barrel can be tilted upwards at the breech end for loading and is secured by a spring-loaded hook. Interior lock with set trigger, air reservoir intergrated in the butt. Square lug to take the crank lever for the air container. Walnut half stock with iron furniture, fingered brass trigger guard. Germany circa 1850, length 113 cm. Condition 2-

Brünierter Achtkant-Kipplauf mit Messingeinstecklauf im Kaliber 6 mm und mit eingeschobenem Korn und verstellbarer Eisenkimme. Diopter. Deutscher Stecher. Nussholzschäftung mit Eisenbeschlägen, gefingerter Abzugsbügel aus Messing. Kolben mit seitlichem Spannmechanismus. Deutsch um 1850, Länge 113 cm. Zustand 2-
