Pepperbox Pistol by Alphonse Caron
Cal. 10 mm. Barrels individually mounted into the rotating wheel are numbered 1 through 4. Length of each 6.3 cm. Ring trigger, under hammer and safety lever. Frame is lightly engraved in foliate arabesque patterns, fluted ebony grips. Safety lever marked "A. CARON". Paris circa 1840. Overall length 18 cm. Alphonse Caron, was active in Paris from 1839 to 1852 (Arquebusier du Roi). Condition 2

Vierschüssiges Laufbündel mit abschraubbaren Nockenläufen im Kaliber 10 mm, nummeriert 1 - 4, Länge je 6,3 cm. Untenliegender Schlagmechanismus mit Ringabzug und Versicherung. Rahmen mit Floralgravur. Kannelierter Griff aus Ebenholz. Auf Versicherung signieret "A. CARON". Paris um 1840. Gesamtlänge 18 cm. Waffenbesitzkartenpflichtig. Alphonse Caron, erw. 1839 - 1852, Hofbüchsenmacher. Zustand 2
