A fire Brigade Commander´s Short Sword
Single-edged, straight fullered blade (slightly pitted) with saw back and central point. Fine brass hilt decorated in relief with remnants of gilding. Quillons curved towards the blade. Black wooden grip with eagle-pommel. Black leather finished scabbard. Fittings show fire brigade related ornaments. Austria circa 1900, length 72.5 cm. Guard missing. Condition 2-



Kurzschwert für den Feuerwehrkommananten
Kräftige Klinge (leicht narbig) beidseitig gekehlt mit Sägerücken und zweischneidiger Spitze. Reliefiertes Messinggefäß mit Resten von Vergoldung. Leicht abwärts gebogene Parierstange mit Löwenkopfenden. Schwarzer Holzgriff mit Adlerkopfknauf. Schwarz belederte Scheide. Die Messingbeschläge der Scheide mit Feuerwehrmotiven. Österreich um 1900, Länge 72,5 cm. Stichblatt fehlt. Custand 2-
