Non-regulation Broadsword
Single-edged, straight blade with wide fuller on one sides, false edge and central point. On outer side manufacturer´s mark "FERD. FRUWIRTH". Wooden grip covered with leather. Iron hilt. Simple strip knuckle-guard merges into counterguard with seven circular holes and two slots for sword-knot. Steel plate scabbard, two lockets with movable rings. Austria, c. 1860, length 110 cm. Condition 2
