A Sword with Cut Hilt
Slender, ridged thrusting blade with a deep fuller in the upper third on both sides. Slightly conical ricasso marked on both faces. Iron bar hilt with chiselled decor at the both sides and pierced double shell-guards. The grip retaining its original, fine iron wire winding and Turk`s heads. Cut, iron pommel. Probably Italy circa 1600, length 136 cm. Condition 2+



Eisengeschnittenes Rapier
Schlanke, gegratete Stichklinge, oben beidseitig mit tiefer Kehlung. Leicht konische Fehlschärfe mit beidseitig geätzter Marke. Eisernes Spangengefäß mit geschnittenem Dekor, beidseitig durchbrochene Stichblätter. Hilze mit originaler feiner Eisendrahtwicklung und Türkenbünden. Geschnittener, eiserner Knauf. Wohl Italien um 1600, Länge 136 cm. Zustand 2+
