A Scottish basket-hilted broadsword
Double-edged broad blade of lenticular cross-section and lightly fullered in the lower quarter, on each side struck with inscription "IN MINI". A typical steel open work basket guard with pierced heart decorations. Leather grip cover with fine brass wire winding. Hemispherical pommel. Scotland circa 1750, length 100 cm. Condition 2



Korbschwert (Breitschwert)
Breite, zweischneidige Klinge mit linsenförmigem Querschnitt beidseitig gekehlt mit Inschrift "IN MINI" in der Kehlung. Am Klingenansatz kurze Fehlschärfe. Typisches, eisernes Korbgefäß mit runden und herzförmigen Zierdurchbrüchen. Lederbezogene Hilze mit feiner Wicklung aus Messingdraht. Halbrunder, gravierter Knauf. Schottland um 1750, Länge 100 cm. Zustand 2
