A large late Victorian giltwood, gilt composition and 'Jasperware' type decorated overmantel mirror The arched and shaped rectangular plate within an egg and leaf moulded border, flanked to the base by two foliate wrapped and flowerhead carved volute scrolls, surmounted by a reeded guilloche cornice, with a central cresting of an oval Jasperware type plaque depicting a pair of bacchic putti within a beaded surround adorned with scrolled acanthus foliage, flanked by two reclining figures of putti each holding a floral and oak leaf hanging garland terminating in scrolled foliage, each side carved with a conforming pendant, 262cm high x 220cm wide.
