A late 19th century French gilt spelter and porcelain inset mantel clock the movement with Japy Freres pastille, numbered 400 the porcelain in the Sevres style with a rose pompadour ground, the arched rectangular case surmounted by a laurel draped pedestal urn with floriate final, flanked by a pair of laurel draped columns, the 3.25' dial with Roman chapter ring, the centre painted with a putto, above a further shaped panel enamelled with a pair of courtly lovers, the bow-ended plinth base with inset floral panel on toupie feet, the case stamped PH MOUREZ 71the brass twin train movement with Brocot type suspension striking on a bell, with pendulum, 38cm high, 25cm wide, 11cm deep For further information on this lot please visit Bonhams.com For further information about this lot please visit the lot listing
