A rare pair of George I / II provincial cast silver candlesticks with two maker's marks, possibly for Pentecost Symonds and John Webber, both Plymouth makers, Exeter, date letter partially visible, circa 1726 Knopped baluster form faceted stems, with upper shaped square knop and disc knop below, the nozzles with fixed drip pans, on shaped-square bases with incurved cut corners and sunken well, underside of bases with scratch weights '14-15' and '14-6', height 19.5cm, weight 29.1oz.
