A Newport, Rhode Island, estate (acquired from the previous). N.B. This work has been examined via digital images by the Netherlands Institute for Art History (RKD). It has formerly been attributed to both Egbert Lievensz. van der Poel (1621-1664) and to Gillis Rombouts (1630-1672), but the most recent examination by the RKD has led to the attribution to Salomon Rombouts, the son of Gillis.
