AN UNUSUAL IRON-RED DECORATED 'PHEONIX AND PEONY' BOWL Kangxi Meticulously pencilled and enamelled in iron-red around the exterior with two phoenix flying amidst scrolling leafy peony, all on a dense scroll ground between a ruyi-head border and a band of lappets, the interior with a medallion enclosing a front-faced writhing dragon, wood stand. 21.9cm (8 5/8in) diam.
