Ø33mm, ca. 34g, Gold, vermutlich 20K, Gehäuse komplett emailliert, Oberseite und Unterseite mit aufwändigen, sehr detaillierten mythologischen Szenen, seitlich 4 Kartuschen mit Landschaftsmalerei, Gehäuse innen ebenfalls mit 2 sehr aufwändigen Gemälden mit Burgansicht, hochfeines, frühes Spindelwerk mit Vasenpfeilern, 2-armige Unruh ohne Spirale, Platine signiert Laurier Blois, Emaillezifferblatt, Goldzeiger, herausragender Erhaltungszustand, im Randbereich rissig. Francois Laurier war verzeichnet um 1650 in Blois und verstarb 1663. Blois Emailleuhren aus der Zeit um 1650 mit Werken aus dieser Zeit sind museale Objekte. Viele dieser Gehäuse, die bereits damals als Kunstwerke geschätzt wurden, haben Werke aus dem 18. Jahrhundert. Ø33mm, ca. 34g, gold, presumably 20K, case completely enamelled, face and back with elaborate, very detailed mythological scenes, lateral 4 cartouches with landscape painting, case inside also with 2 very elaborate paintings with castle view, very fine and early verge movement with pillars in shape of vases, 2-armed balance wheel without hairspring, plate signed Laurier Blois, enamel dial, gold hands, in excellent condition, peripheral little fissures. Francois Laurier was recorded around 1650 in Blois and died in 1663. Blois enamel watches from the time around 1650 with movements from this time are museum timepieces. Many of these cases, which were already appreciated as works of art at that time, are equipped with movements from the 18th century. This watch is an original from Blois around 1640/ 50, a museum collector's timepiece.
