Für solch stimmungsvolle, leicht impressionistisch angehauchten Bilder, allen voran Nachtbilder sowie Winterlandschaften mit Figurenstaffagen, wurde der deutsche Maler Stademann schon zu Lebzeiten sehr geschätzt.
