Farblinolschnitt - Josef Karl Nerud (1900 Simbach am Inn - 1892) "Fischverkauf auf Ibiza", r.u. Bleistiftsignatur, Maße Darstellung ca. 41x58 cm, vgl. Lit. Vollmer: Josef Karl Nerud war ein deutscher Maler der Moderne. Seine Werke sind expressionistischer, sachlicher sowie expressiver Natur. Studierte an der Münchner Akademie bei Becker-Gundahl und Fr. Klemmer. Nerud wurde durch den Architekten Franz Ruf nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg finanziell unabhängig, Werke dieser Zeit finden sich in vielen Münchner Gebäuden wieder. Mit der Illustration von Hemingways "Der alte Mann und das Meer" in der Neuen Zeitung erlangte Nerud 1952 Bekanntheit.Nerud war Mitglied der Donau-Wald-Gruppe.,
