Seit über 25 Jahren bildet das Kunstauktionshaus Leipzig die wichtigste Anlaufstelle für Auktionen in der Messestadt.
Seit 1. März 2022 leitet der ehemalige Frankfurter Galerist und Kunsthändler Karl Schwind das Haus als nunmehr dritter Geschäftsführer seit seiner Gründung im Jahr 1995.
Mithilfe seiner langjährigen Erfahrung, seiner ausgewiesenen Expertise besonders im Feld der figurativen Malerei des 20. Jahrhunderts und seiner Vernetzung in der Kunstwelt, wird er das Programm des Auktionshauses konsequent verdichten: Zukünftig soll der Fokus ausschließlich auf der bildenden Kunst liegen.

The Kunstauktionshaus Leipzig has been the most important contact point for auctions in the trade fair city for over 25 years. Since March 1, 2022, the former Frankfurt gallery owner and art dealer Karl Schwind has been managing the house as the third managing director since it was founded in 1995. With the help of his many years of experience, his proven expertise especially in the field of figurative painting of the 20th century and his network in the art world, he will consistently condense the auction house's program: in future the focus will be exclusively on fine arts.
