Baroque chest of drawers with tabernacle attachment
Southern Germany, Mid 18th c.
The lower part of the chest of drawers with three drawers on ball feet has a curved front
and a profiled plate with band inlays; the upper part with a total of 15 small drawers
around the central tabernacle compartment with star inlays, crowned by openwork acanthus
tendrils. Walnut, burr walnut etc. veneered, bronze fittings. 184 x 120 x 66 cm. - Signs
of ageing, to be restored. - Not originally related.

Auf Ballenfüßen dreischubiges Kommodenunterteil mit geschweifter Front und profilierter,
überstehender Platte mit Bandeinlagen; der Aufsatz mit insgesamt 15 kleinen Schüben um das
zentrale Tabernakelfach mit Sterneinlage, als Bekrönung durchbrochene Akanthusranken.
Nuss-, Masernussholz u.a. furniert, Bronzebeschläge. 184 x 120 x 66 cm. - Altersspuren, zu
restaurieren. - Nicht original zusammengehörig.
