Raffinato orologio da appoggio francese in bronzo dorato al mercurio. Sormontato da aquila ad ali spiegate, è centrato da un quadrante in smalto bianco, con ore in dodici in numeri romani e minuti di cinque in cinque in numeri arabi. Il quadrante è firmato Mayer à Chalons. Il tutto è sostenuto da una struttura su quattro colonne dorate, su base circolare, di gusto classico. Movimento con suoneria delle ore e delle mezze, pendolo con lente decorata a testa di Medusa. A nice French ormolu clock, in the shape of a classical structure, surmounted by an eagle, on four pillars. A white enamel dial, signed Mayer à Chalons, hours with Roman numerals, minutes from five to five, with Arabic numerals. The movement strikes hours and half hours, the pendulum bob is in the shape of the head of Medusa, the mythological monster. H 39 cm
