LARGE FAMILLE ROSE PLATE
Porcelain with enamel colours. China, 18th cent.
Very beautiful, colourful painting with gold. In the centre is a large lotus flower surrounded by several smaller, one of which is entirely golden. In the pond, a fantastic depiction of a mandarin duck; her partner is flying and looking desirously upon her. On the lip are three wide reserves with curtains, holding tassels and also a view into the garden with a fence, decorative rocks and plenty of flowers. In the sections in-between are decorative floral compositions. On the underside of the plate, encircling leaf-vines and flowers in under-glaze blue and iron-red. With metal wall-mounting. An almost unrecognizable hairline crack on the lip, overall in very good condition.

Sehr schöne farbige Malerei mit Gold. Im Zentrum eine große Lotusblüte, umgeben von mehr kleinen, eine ganz golden. Im Teich eine mehr phantastisch dargestellte Mandarinente, ihr Partner fliegt und schaut begierig auf sie hinunter. Auf der Fahne drei breite Reserven mit Rollos mit Quasten und Ausblick in den Garten mit Zaun, Zierfelsen und viel Blüten. In den Zwischenfeldern dekorativ-florale Kompositionen. Auf der Unterseite des Tellers rundum verlaufende Blattranken und Blüten in Unterglasurblau und Eisenrot. Mit metallener Aufhängung. Auf der Fahne ein kaum zu sehender feiner Haarriss, insgesamt aber ein sehr guter Erhaltungszustand.
