BAUM, VÖGEL UND FRÜCHTEZwei farbige Malereien aus dem Bhagavadgita. Nord-Indien, Kashmir, Mitte 19. Jh.Zwei feinst ausgeführte Malereien, ein Doppelblatt aus einem Miniaturenbuch, das auf der einen Seite einen grünen Baum mit dichter Krone bietet, in ihm hausen viele - teils witzig abgekürzt gemalte - Vögel, zwei deutlich größer, am Boden ein roter Zaun. Gegenseits ein Baum voll mit roten Früchten. Goldene Umrahmung.GRÖSSE JE CA. 14 x 9,5 CMTREE, BIRDS AND FRUITSTwo coloured paintings from the Bhagavad Gita.
