THEO FENNELL: SAPPHIRE AND ENAMEL EARRINGS, 1998 Sapphire cabochons Black enamel 18 carat gold Signed FENNELL, maker's mark, London hallmark Length 2.2cm Total weight approx. 24.0g Maker's case and box Footnotes: OVERALL CONDITION Light surface wear to 18 carat gold. Post with maker's mark TF and London hallmark for 18 carat gold with date letter y. Reverse signed FENNELL. Earrings with post and clip fittings, clips with good tension. Only suitable for pierced ears. SAPPHIRES Measuring very approx. 8.3 x 8.4mm and 8.2 x 8.3mm (depths not possible due to setting), displaying a translucent dark blue hue with inclusions visible under closer inspection, some surface reaching.
