Wood found and gilded with fine gold.
Measurements; 47,5 x 38 cm (light); 70 x 79,5 cm (frame).
Spanish Baroque frame, from the 17th century, made of carved and gilded wood, it has a square design with prominent corners. Rectangular in shape, the design is organised into three mouldings, the inner and outer ones narrower and the middle and main ones wider. All are decorated with high reliefs, and the middle and inner mouldings are also gilded. The outer moulding, the narrowest of the three, is decorated with a bas-relief that articulates an ornamental design of a classical character, although worked with a distinctly Baroque decorative sense, very chiaroscuro. The inner moulding has a more profuse relief than the outer area, and in turn combines vegetal elements with others of a geometric nature, such as the small balls inserted among the vegetation. Finally, the middle moulding has a more prominent carving, with large acanthus leaves.

INSURANCE INCIDENTS: Coverage for the value of the auction up to 3000 ? per shipment, if the value of the auction is higher, Setdart will send you a quote including the additional insurance. The insurance company WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SHIPMENT THAT EXCEEDS THAT AMOUNT AND IS NOT FULLY INSURED.
