CORONELLI, VINCENZO MARIA. 1650-1718. L' Africa divisa nelle sue parti secondo le piu moderne relationi colle scoperte dell' origine, e corso del Nilo descritta. Venice: 1691. Engraved map, 660 x 925 mm, printed on two sheets joined on verso with, with reinforcement to fold creases on verso, light spotting and browning, margins slightly trimmed. Coronelli's map of Africa features lions and elephants surrounding the title vignette, and a central cartouche with information about the Nile surrounded by allorical figures and a crocodile.
