Tunesien - Meisterpokal 1923 - Original Meisterpokal des Fußballverbandes von Tunesien (LTFA) für die Fußball - Meisterschaft 1923 für Stade Gaulois Tunis mit Gravur "FFFA. Ligue Tunisienne de Football Association. Championnat de Tunis 1922-23. Promotion I Equipes Premieres". Versilbert, Höhe 26,5 cm. - Der tunesische Fußballverband (LTFA) wurde 1921 gegründet und war aufgrund der Kolonialzeit ein Reginonalverband des französichen Fußballverbandes (FFFA). Der tunesische Fußballverband richtet seit 1921 die Landesmeisterschaft auch mit einheimische Vereinen aus. Vor 1921 gab es auch eine tunesische Meisterschaft, doch nahmen an dieser nur wenig rein französische Mannschaften teil, ohne nordafrikanische Spieler. Die tunesische Meisterschaft heißt seit 1921 "Championat de Tunisie". Stade Gaulouis, der Meister des Jahres 1923, gewann von 1922 - 1928 dreimal diesen Titel. Äußerst seltenes Stück zur Nordafrikanischen Fußballgeschichte. Unikat. Museumsstück!!!! -- leicht angelaufen; am Henkel fehlt eine Rosette.

The Tunesian FA (LTFA) was founded as a regional FA due to Tunesia then being a French colony in 1921. Since then there have been national championships played by domestic teams.There were Tunesian championships before 1921 yet only French a few French teams participated and no North African players anyway. From 1921 on the championship was called "Championat de Tunisie". Stade de Gaulle, champions of 1923, won the championship three times between 1922 and 1928. Extremely rare piece of North African football history. Unique, museum piece. Slighly tarnished, rosette on handle is missing.

The lots have been described conscientiously. The authenticity of the lots is guaranteed if nothing to the contrary is mentioned in the text.
Prices listed in the catalogue are estimates only. The lots may be sold at higher or lower prices. Auctioning will start at 80% of estimate unless at least two higher bids have been received. Bids under 80% of estimate are not accepted by the auctioneer.
Bids are to be submitted in € only. They are executed conscientiously and without any commission.
