Hand-knotted wool rug decorated without floral medallion. Hand-spun wool in a natural colour on a beige and red background. Imported in the 80's. Sold with its certificate of authenticity. The rug is professionally cleaned. TABRIZ: These rugs are made in workshops in the town of Tabriz, in North-West Iran. The pile of a good Tabriz is short and stiff. The current production of rugs is very large, and the quality varies from excellent artistic craftsmanship to simpler, cheaper bazaar qualities. The decoration may consist of a central medallion surrounded by arabesques, weeping willows and cypress trees. Another popular motif is the four seasons, which depict the life of the Persian peasant during spring, summer, autumn and winter.

CONDITIONS OF SALE
The sale takes place by bidding to the highest bidder. The buyer (Highest bidder) is obliged to pay the auction price of the lot in cash (cash for any amount less than 3,000 euros, bank check or debit/credit card), plus 23% for costs and VAT.
A 1.5% surcharge applies for every payment by credit card.
Resale right
In addition, for lots where the artist's name is followed by the sign (*), a resale right of 4% will be applied, in relation to the works of artists who lived or died less than 70 years ago, for all auctions equal to or greater than €2,000.
Lots are sold as is. The description of the objects offered for sale included in the catalog should be considered purely indicative, allowing the public to know at the preceding exhibition the nature and condition of the lots offered for auction .
In the event of a dispute or an error in the assignment, the bailiff or the acting notary will, in absolute sovereignty and without appeal, settle any dispute that may arise regarding the auctions during the sale.
The organizer of the sale reserves the right to refuse any bid, to make any decision, splitting, or withdraw lots without having to justify its decision. (Note: all lots are sold individually, except where it is clearly stated "for the lot")
Profits and risks pass to the buyer at the auction. However, he only becomes the owner after full payment of the price and cost. Any complaint must reach us by registered letter within 10 days after the auction, under penalty of inadmissibility.

The buyer is expected to act on his own behalf and is personally responsible for the payment of the lots.
In accordance with VAT legislation, invoices must be requested by buyers immediately after the sale.
