Fotos / PostkartenFotoalbum des Ritterkreuzträgers Oberfeldwebel Wilhelm Bredemeier, 12.(MG)/ Geb.-Jäg.-Rgt. 91.Fotoalbum nach dem Krieg zusammengestellt, 280 Originalfotos, 10 Reprofotos, teils beschriftet, dekorativ mit Aquarellen versehen.Wilhelm Bredemeier war als Feldwebel und Zugführer im Kaukasus im Einsatz. Das Ziel war, den Baglar-Pass zu nehmen, was ihm mit seinem Zug auch gelang - allerdings führte er - die Situation umfassend erkennend seinen Zug trotz Gegenwehr weiter und nahm auch den anschließenden 400m langen Kamm trotz russischer Gegenwehr ein, der eine überragende strategische Bedeutung im Kampffeld hatte. So harrte der Zug dort aus, bis sie mit Verstärkung aufgefrischt, noch weitere sechs Tage den Russen Gegenwehr boten und einen Umgehungsangriff abwehren konnten. Das Schwarze Meer lag nun nur noch 22 km Luftlinie entfernt. Für diesen strategischen Erfolg wurde er am 9. November 1942 mit dem Ritterkreuz ausgezeichnet.Zustand: II3.2.) The goal was, to occupy the Bgalar-Pass, which he was able to do with his unit - but he led - realizing the situation - his unit further, eventhough the russian stood their man. He went further with his unit to also taking the 400m long ridge that was conected to the pass, and giving all in a perfect strategic combat situation. The unit was able to hold, till supplies arrived and fought for the following six days against heavy russian attacts - and fought back a circumvention. The Black Sea was only 22 km away. For this strategic action he was decorated on November 9th 1942 with the Knights Cross of the Iron Cross.Condition: II
