Letter Signed ('Grace Coolidge') to Mrs. New enclosing a list of dates selected for White House dinners and receptions for the present season, 1 p, 8vo (172 x 110 mm), Washington, [January 3, 1925], on White House stationery, with integral bank leaf, mounting remnants to verso of 2nd leaf. Provenance: Remember When, 1990s. Grace Coolidge was a remarkably popular first lady in her day and a successful Washington hostess, although the Coolidges preferred a more restrained social calendar than did the flamboyant Hardings before them. In this short note to a Mrs. New, Grace Coolidge forwards a listing (not present) of the dates of future White House events.
