TOMMASO SAULINI: CAMEO BROOCH, MID 19TH CENTURY - Depicting a child in profile, facing right - Tiered mount with ropetwist detail - Signed T. Saulini F - Later brooch pin - Lengths: cameo 5.0cm, brooch 6.5cm - Weight approx. 32.5g Footnotes: OVERALL CONDITION Some surface wear to shell, including some scratching to the reverse. Signs of possible repair in the form of glue reside to the reverse of mount to edge of cameo. Some surface wear to unmarked and untested yellow metal, including some noticeable dents to reverse of mount, with loss of ropetwist decoration to top of mount and some scratching throughout.
