SAPPHIRE AND DIAMOND RING - Oval-cut sapphire, approx. 4.30 carats - Single-cut diamonds - Ring size approx. M - Weight approx. 5.1g Footnotes: The Gem & Pearl Laboratory: Sri Lankan origin, no evidence of heat treatment. Report number 20822, 26 November 2021. OVERALL CONDITION Indecipherable, partially rubbed mark to outer hoop. Inner hoop engraved 4.31. White metal unhallmarked but testing as platinum. Signs of repair and solder to hoop. Ring has been resized. SAPPHIRE Sapphire measures approximately 11.2 x 8-8.5mm x 6.6mm, and displays even, light blue hue with violet undertones, good transparency and small inclusions visible under 10x magnification.
