Austen Balsom Footnotes: OVERALL CONDITION Unhallmarked white metal (testing as platinum); light surface wear with some discolouration visible to pin fitting. Pin fitting secure. SAPPHIRES Medium to dark purplish blue hue, some inclusions visible under 10x magnification, some surface reaching. Small nicks and chips to girdle and abrasion visible to facet edges under 10x magnification.
