CHANEL: DIAMOND-SET 'COMÈTE' DRESS WATCH, 2002 Brilliant-cut diamonds, approx. 0.45ct total Satin-style strap 18 carat white gold Dial signed Chanel, signed Chanel, maker's mark, London hallmark, French assay mark, Swiss assay mark, European convention mark Inner circumference approx. 15.5cm Weight approx. 54.0g Maker's pouch Footnotes: OVERALL CONDITION Dial signed Chanel. Reverse of case marked 18K, 750, 7J25, signed CHANEL PARIS 2000. Stamped with European convention mark for 18 carat gold, Swiss assay mark (St Bernard dog's head), with maker's mark (JM flanking a rocket inside a vertical lozenge), MADE IN FRANCE QUARTZ. Inside of strap signed CHANEL PARIS, some slight creasing to some areas. Clasp signed Chanel with maker's mark CL and London hallmark for 18 carat gold with date letter C, French assay marks (eagle's heads), marked SWISS MADE. Clasp stamped with maker's mark for Bouder (SB flanking an amphora within a horizontal lozenge) and Swiss assay mark (St Bernard dog's head), marked 750 with maker's mark STE C within vertical oval lozenge and European convention mark. Clasp secure. DIAMONDS Bright and lively. WATCH 5-jewel ETA quartz, unsigned, running at time of cataloguing with new battery fitted. Buyers' Premium and Charges
For all Sales categories, buyer's premium excluding Cars, Motorbikes, Wine, Whisky and Coin & Medal sales, will be as follows:
Buyer's Premium Rates
28% on the first £40,000 of the hammer price;
27% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £40,000 up to and including £800,000;
21% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £800,000 up to and including £4,500,000;
and 14.5% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £4,500,000.
A 3rd party bidding platform fee of 4% of the Hammer Price for Buyers using the following bidding platforms will be added to the invoices of successful Buyers for auctions starting on or after 6th July 2024 – Invaluable; Live Auctioneers; The Saleroom; Lot-tissimo.
VAT at the current rate of 20% will be added to the Buyer's Premium and charges excluding Artists Resale Right.
