CHARM BRACELET, FOB SEAL AND CHARM 1st: Charm bracelet Suspending 12 charms Bloodstone Clear gemstone Inner circumference very approx. 19.0cm 2nd: Hardstone fob seal Carved Carnelian Length 3.5cm 3rd: Charm Suspending four charms, including a mother-of-pearl penknife charm Lengths 2.5-4.5cm Total weight approx. 59.5g (3) Footnotes: Please note, this lot will be subject to US Fish and Wildlife inspection if imported into the USA. OVERALL CONDITION 1st: Some surface wear to the unhallmarked and hallmarked metal (Ibiza charm testing as 16ct gold, man with child charm testing as 22ct gold, cross charm testing as 14ct gold, two hear shaped lockets testing as 6ct gold and curb linked chain and remaining charms testing between 8-9ct gold). Piano charm with UK hallmark for 9 carat gold. Spots of discolouration present to some charms and chain, including solder visible to some links. Links of chain stamped 9C. Substantial loss of enamel to sarcophagus charm. Clasp partially bent but appears secure, would benefit from professional attention. Weight approx. 30.5g. 2nd & 3rd: Surface wear and spots of discolouration to the unhallmarked yellow metal (fob testing as 14ct gold but possibly gold cased, watch winder and cross charm testing between 7-8ct gold, remaining charms testing as base metal). Quartz with eye visible abrasions to facet edges. Eye visible losses to mother-of-pearl. Pen knife charm with some rusting visible to knife insert. 2nd weighing approx. 16.5g. 3rd weighing approx. 12.5g. Buyers' Premium and Charges
For all Sales categories, buyer's premium excluding Cars, Motorbikes, Wine, Whisky and Coin & Medal sales, will be as follows:
Buyer's Premium Rates
28% on the first £40,000 of the hammer price;
27% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £40,000 up to and including £800,000;
21% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £800,000 up to and including £4,500,000;
and 14.5% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £4,500,000.
A 3rd party bidding platform fee of 4% of the Hammer Price for Buyers using the following bidding platforms will be added to the invoices of successful Buyers for auctions starting on or after 6th July 2024 – Invaluable; Live Auctioneers; The Saleroom; Lot-tissimo.
VAT at the current rate of 20% will be added to the Buyer's Premium and charges excluding Artists Resale Right.
