Mendelssohn I, p.865], 8vo, Amsterdam, Abraham Wolfgang, 1691 Footnotes: La Loubere travelled to Siam [Thailand] as envoy extraordinaire of Louis XIV, alongside the Jesuit Guy Tachard, in 1687 to 1688. Includes a short account of the Cape of Good Hope, with 3 plates related to the region. Provenance: Martha Pitt, early ownership inscription on front free endpaper of volume 1; ?A.T.
