A Scottish silver mounted dirk, Thomas Ebbutt, Edinburgh 1963 Engraved to the rear of the locket 'Made in Scotland', the 30cm blade with faceted back edge and double fuller, carved wood basket weave hilt set with studs, the pommel set with a stone, supported by a pierced foliate cage, in its leather scabbard with engraved and thistle applied mounts, complete with companion knife and fork, together with a Gordon Highlanders silver mounted skean dhu Thomas Ebbutt, Edinburgh 1963, and a silver clan badge, Edinburgh, 1953, with griffen head and clan motto 'True to the end', (3).
