The Macallan-1951 Distilled 20th December 1951. Matured only in Sherry Wood. Distilled and bottled by The Macallan Distillers Ltd. Casks #1541 and #1552. One of 632 bottles. In original presentation case. Good labelling. Level: into neck. 700ml. Single malt, 48.8% volume 1 bottle Footnotes: Tasting notes: Nose - strong citrus notes (with orange to the fore), rich dried fruits and apple. Lightly floral, balanced with resinous spice - strong cloves and hints of cinnamon. Taste - rich treacle toffee lightened with citrus orange. Spicy with a hint of peat smoke. After taste - orangey with rich resinous spicy wood - long and lingering with a kiss of peat smoke.
