Cognac, 40 abv 1 crystal decanter Footnotes: Personal comments from Jacques Hardy about this vintage: 'This Cognac seduced me with its full-bodied sweetness, when I tried it just before the end of World War II, and put aside when it was offered to me there and then. It was matured for over 100 years in oak casks, and 30 odd years in glass demijohns before I bottled it.'
