A pair of late Louis XVI ormolu and white marble cassolettes late 18th/early 19th century the domed covers with (later) trophy finials reversing to swept beaded nozzles, the vase bodies on tripod supports with Mercury bust finials terminating in scrolling feet, the girdles united by beaded garlands, the circular bases with fruiting palmette central finials raised on circular plinths, the beaded garland partly replaced, 24.5cm high, 11cm diameter approximately (2) Footnotes: Provenance From the collection of the late Cornelis Paulus van Pauwvliet.
