A Russian Gardiner porcelain scent bottle and stopper probably mid 19th century, the bottle of shouldered square section with cylindrical neck, the sides with cusped columns to the canted corners highlighted in gilt flanking ogee arched moulded panels, two panels enamelled with figures in Renaissance style dress, the other two with flowers and foliage, the shoulders and base enamelled in cobalt blue with applied elaborate gilt tooled C scroll and dotted diaper decoration, the swept and lobed stopper with ogee lambrequin pendant rim below a pierced and dished knopped finial, the underside of the base with impressed factory mark and numbered 3, restored, 23.5cm high, 8cm wide, 8cm deep For further information on this lot please visit Bonhams.com For further information about this lot please visit the lot listing
