A Dutch silver small lidded jug three marks to base, with tree surmounted by a coronet for Den Bosch ('s-Hertogenbosch) also stamped letter V, possibly date letter for 1695 - 1696, and another indistinct mark Baluster form chased with acanthus, foliate swag and drapes clasped in the beak of griffins, the front with a relief potrait in a cartouche, the hinged cover with a cast finial of a boy embracing a griffin, bead-capped scroll handle, on a spreading circular foot, with chased foliate band over a stippled ground, height 16cm, weight 7.2oz. Buyers' Premium and Charges
For all Sales categories, buyer's premium excluding Cars, Motorbikes, Wine, Whisky and Coin & Medal sales, will be as follows:
Buyer's Premium Rates
28% on the first £40,000 of the hammer price;
27% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £40,000 up to and including £800,000;
21% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £800,000 up to and including £4,500,000;
and 14.5% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £4,500,000.
