Stains 1803', dust-staining and marks, creased, some small tears, remains of red wax seal, seal tear with loss, not affecting text, 4to (238 x 190mm.), 'Victory Nov: 2nd: 1803/ Wednesday 6am' Footnotes: HMS Kent, a 74-gun third-rate ship of the line under Rear-Admiral Richard Bickerton and Captain Edward O'Bryen was one of eleven ships accompanying Nelson's Victory at the long Seige of Toulon. This invitation to dine aboard the Victory is not published in Nicolas, Despatches and Letters.
