(28.6 x 38.1 cm) irregular Footnotes: This Kotah drawing is very characteristic of several other late Kotah drawings now in Philadelphia Museum of Art, including Ram Singh II on a tiger hunt (2013-77-35). The dense composition with complex architecture and multitude of figures compares favorably with a complete painting of Maharaja Ram Singh II of Kotah at the Gangaur festival in the Sainsbury Center, Norwich (580), and a processional scene in the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, in Archer, Indian Painting in Bundi and Kotah, London, p. 56, no. 25.
