(21.6 x 19.7 cm) Footnotes: Kakubha implies splendour or beauty, but also the garlands of champaka flowers held in the ragini's hands. She is shown as a heroine deserted by her lover, who wanders dejectedly and encounters a pair birds that intensify her sorrow. In a variant of the standard composition, the ragini holds a single thin garland and stands before a pair of cranes.
