A female Bamana antelope headdress Ci Wara The curving neck supporting the head with tall, cylindrical horns with linear incision spiraling up along each surface; her rounded torso supporting the baby with a neck carved in two columns and separated in the middle, the back with column with a flange-like mane, supporting a head of similar shape to the mother, but with shorter horns slightly curved back; both bodies decorated with dotted and incised geometric designs, with basketry headgear attached below, mounted on a metal stand. ht. 34 3/4 in.
