SAPPHIRE AND DIAMOND BROOCH, CIRCA 1930 BROCHE SAPHIRS ET DIAMANTS, CIRCA 1930 • French import mark for platinum (850°/00) • Numerous old brilliant- and single-cut diamonds weighing approximately 3.50-4.00 carat total • Numerous calibré-cut sapphires • Measurements: 4.30 x 2.70 cm • Gross weight: 11.27 grams Footnotes: OVERALL CONDITION: Metal tested and stamped for platinum; single pin with safety clasp; areas of oxidation; superficial wear in the form of minor scratches; overall good condition. ACCENT GEMSTONES: sapphires Approximate overall colour and clarity: medium strong blue, slightly included. Please note that these stones have not been tested for origin of colour. ACCENT DIAMONDS: old brilliant- and single-cut Approximate overall colour and clarity: I-J-K, VS-SI Chips, fissures.
