New York: The Limited Editions Club, 1932; 1935. 2 volumes. 8vo. Engraved illustrations by Bruno Rollitz after John Tenniel. Publisher's full red and blue, respectively, leather-textured cloth gilt, all edges gilt, printed cloth slipcases, both volumes contained in red quarter morocco clamshell box. Light sunning to spines and slipcases. LIMITED SIGNED EDITIONS, numbers 1355 and 480 of 1500 copies each. Alice's Adventures in Wonderland is one of approximately 500 copies signed on a tipped-in leaf by Alice Hargreaves, the original inspiration for Dodgson's Alice, and is additionally signed by designer Frederic Warde on the colophon. Through the Looking Glass is one of approximately 1150 copies signed by Hargreaves on the colophon.
